Former child star Gary Coleman was accused this week of running over a fan that had tried to get his autograph. This was a surprise to many folks who said they didn’t know he still had fans. Coleman was not arrested, but police say they are investigating the incident, which could lead to a citation for Coleman or the fan.

John McCain attacked Barack Obama for using the expression “like putting lipstick on a pig” to describe his policies. McCain was not as concerned about the reference to his policies as he was about the fact that his running mate, Sarah Palin wears lipstick (see video below for details):
