Either you’ll love it or you’ll hate it. I haven’t found too many mixed emotions about No Country for Old Men. The Academy loved it, giving it 4 Oscars. It also won Golden Globe and various other awards. The public didn’t take to it as much as the Academy and the critics. Box office numbers were rather lackluster, even after the Oscar bump.
No Country for Old Men provides drama and suspense that will keep you on the edge of your seat. But, the level of violence is not for the squeamish. Josh Brolin co-stars as a hunter who stumbles upon a lot of money and a few dead bodies. Javier Bardem plays a hit man, hired to recover the money. That’s where the fun begins. Murder and mayhem ensue!
