Robert Downey Jr. If the full movie is half as funny as the trailer, Tropic Thunder will be well worth checking out. And, newcomer Brandon T. Jackson, from Detroit, looks hilarious.

Tropic Thunder is a crazy funny film. Jack Black is out of his mind. Robert Downey Jr. is so into being black, I thought he really was. There may some content that offends some, but the movie is full of laughs. But, it's definitely not something you want to take the kiddies to. It earns it's R rating, with some extreme language.

I thought Tropic Thunder was hilarious. The previews, Simple Jack, and the little kid stabbing him in the back immediately after he said something about having a special a connection with him. Tom Cruise stole the show though. The movie wouldnt have been as half as good without Cruise. I saw it in the theater but I cant wait to see it again as I think it will be even funnier.

Stiller ALWAYS plays the same guy though. Tries to be the leader and when everyone doesnt agree with him, he goes off on his own. How many movies has he done this in? And I thought Jack Blacks character was annoying.

When drinking up the Booty Sweat and Bustin a Nut. Fing hilarious.

Wow, I guess Ill try to watch Tropic Thunder again.

I really want to "get it"... because I do know about the film industry more than the average person.

And Im not being a Stiller hater or anything, Im a fan of Stiller, Ferrell, not so much anymore Sandler, but they all have talent. Most importantly, they all have works that are crappy and works that are awesome. None of them are perfect. And then most MOST importantly, its all about the persons preference. Im not a stupid person, but I do enjoy Ferrells works.

I guess I thought most of the things in Tropic Thunder just got old fast. Stiller wasnt that great, Black wasnt that great sadly, mostly annoying, Alpa Chino was just... there, and Downey, even though funny, got old really fast. Yeah hes a white guy acting like a black guy, and he cant break out of character, I get it. But Ill agree, the "never go full retard" speech was hilarious.

I can see why some people dont get Tropic Thunder. Satire is a tough thing to do, as its often too "inside" with the jokes, and if you dont really understand what they are making fun of, its not going to be so funny.

If you all want a glimps on how the movie will look. Watch Kung Fu Hustle. Yes you have to get use to Asian humorI like it but its a good looking movie. The director of Kung Fu will be producing Dragon Ball. So watch that movie and let me know what everyone thinks.

it was his last role, quite fitting.

I hope they only have the orginal characters in this film and that it makes TONNES of money, so that we see the later charcters in the sequels...

Whereas I do remember the original cartoon with fondness still have my copy of the film I hope the film sticks to the comic. I was a HUGE fan of that back in the mid 80s.

Yea itll be a great movie, cant wait for it. And whatd you mean "Steven Spielberg I dont know if youve ever heard of him, but hes a noted Transformers fan" Who hasnt heard of Steven Spielberg?

I wouldnt mind Optimus being a fire truck, anything that makes him look large and in charge would be fine.

Yes, thats the pic Ive seen too. I cant wait for the movie either, Ive always loved Transformers. Transformers in the 80s was one of the best kids shows ever. It started to go downhill though in the 90s when things like Beast Wars were made.

The movie was... decent. It wasnt as spectacular as the trailer made it seem like though so that was a minor dissapointment =/

Overall, though, I think the movie would get a 7.5/10. It wasnt the best, could have been improved but still good enough for me =D

Though I wanted to see a little more of "Dark Rukia" vs. Ichigo D:

Hey, Id actually go and watch a live action Naruto, lol. Even it was just for the laughs.

Anyway, yeah, Im most likely going to see it because Im a dbz fan and I want to see where a major studio will go with this.

Btw, the movie takes place when Goku is a teen which is why the actor looks old. Its the piccolo saga.

My brother told me about it back around the fourth this year. I am interested to see how they approach this with live actors, and CGI.
